Audi Q5 – Is it worth it?

When Audi Q5 was launched, it was criticized that restricted supply is being done. In fact, many customers were not ready to wait and that’s why they shopped for other available luxurious cars. However, this doesn’t dip desirability of the car and still now there is excess demand in the market for Audi Q5. As supply outstrips demand, there is almost no chance of bargaining or reduction of any price. In fact, running cost of this car is also quite high. It’s really expensive and that’s why more and more Audi lovers, especially those who put luxury and quality over cost prefer to buy used Audi Q5 in Delhi and other parts of the country. This decreases price significantly and therefore more and more luxury car fans are able to get their coveted ride at more affordable price.

It has been seen that the demand for SUVs has shot up significantly. This trend can be seen throughout India and not only a local phenomenon that is preferred in Delhi only. This is where Audi is banking on. This is one of the very few companies who know how to build desirable 4x4s. With Jeep and Land Rover leading in the off road SUV sections, the road based SUVs are being led by Audi. When we refer to Audi SUVs, Audi Q5 is surely the best road based luxury cars currently. In fact, it surpasses Land Rover Freelander in terms of desirability.

Audi Q5 – the top quality Audi SUV, a great investment and an expensive car. That’s why demand of used Audi Q5 in Delhi and other parts of India is increasing so rapidly. Audi Q5 started it journey in the year 2008. It became an overnight success. However, it received its first facelift in 2012.

The first few models from this line of Audi SUVs are two petrol engines (2.0-litre TFSI 211 and 3.2-litre FSI). Two diesel models also became popular and they are 2.0 TDI 170 and 3.0-litre TDI diesel engines. It was in August 2009 that two new models were added and they are 2.0 TFSI 180 and 2.0 TDI 143. The same year in October Audi introduced S line Special Edition, which is a special one indeed. Three years later the company introduced minor styling tweaks and gave a facelift to the car. More power was provided for TDIs and 2.0 TFSI.

A supercharged 3.0 TFSI was also introduced, which ultimately replaced 3.2 FSI. At the same time another model was launched and it’s 310bhp SQ5 TDI.

Which one should you buy?

When it comes to Audi Q5, all the engines are powerful. As need of people vary, the choice of cars too. If you are looking for the sublime feature, 3.0 TDI should be bought. If you are more concerned with the fuel economy, 2.0 TDI is best solution available.
