What do the disability plans cover ?
There are three disability plans to help protect you against a loss of income due to a disability.
Short-Term Disability Plan pays basic benefits if you are unable to work due to a pregnancy or a non-work-related disabling injury or illness.
Supplemental Disability Plan also pays benefits if you are unable to work due to a pregnancy or disabling injury or illness. You choose
a minimum 7-, 30-, 90-, or 180-day waiting period. Supplemental Disability and Short-Term Disability Plan benefits, combined with other sources of disability or retirement income, pay 70% of your eligible earnings.
Worker's Compensation provides benefits to workers injured on the job. Workers' Compensation pays your medical bills and provides compensation to help replace your lost income until you can return to work.
